Dusty and I have had the same problem on his '50 GMC. We got the doors
perfect when we did the body, then fitted new seals and painstakingly glued
them in to not make a mess. Then the doors would not shut without slamming!
Unfortunately, the effort needed to close them (no, after two years the
rubber never DID compress enough!!) has indented the sheet metal around the
handles slightly! Damn!
  We mean to pull it all out and re-do it, but we cannot either recall which
place we got it from to avoid them. Have the different catalog guys snip off
a few inches of stripping and mail it to you. They'll be happy to do this.
Then compare it with what you have on your truck now. The truth will be
immediately evident!
