I'd have to agree with Wayne, this would be a lot of trouble, and likely
more than its worth.
Reading what Wayne said I was starting to think about how to manage the
process. But a platform type tow truck could still steal my truck...
Security has to be more than locks.

Most of the chips are EEPROM's which is electrically erasable programmable
read only memory, they can be erased and reprogrammed. Some are just proms
and are not capable of the reprogramming feature. This would involve some
serious and I mean serious knowledge of the code scheme involved and not to
mention the actual program that is installed on the ecm chip. I'd bet my
last dollar that this is probably proprietary information help by the
manufactures and without a prom reader, that could read the current program
on the existing chip and a prom write to be able to manipulate the code to
take in effect the 93 security chip features. The codes in these type of
devices are hexidecimal code and is just short of impossible to decipher
unless you have the programming information. Personally a little more
trouble that it would ever be worth, in my opinion. Hex codes programming
in proms looks something like this in a prom:
003A 03BD 43AA 6FAA so you can see how deciphering this would damn near be
impossible. Only person with the knowledge to alter the inputs and outputs
of these chips, in my opinion would be the manufacture of the device and
the department who programmed it. My suggestion---make sure the locking
mechanism works on your door, be much cheaper... --wayne
