[oletrucks] carb adjustment

I have a rebuilt Rochester single barrel carb on my 54 truck. I have it set up
that it idles good and when I drive and am accelerating fast it will run good.
the problem is when I am accelerating slow or cruising at a steady speed the
Carb loads up. I had the carb apart hand made sure the f;oat was adjusted .
What could the problem be . Any help would be appreciated
