Is it a Chevy or a GMC? Sounds like a 1-Ton to me. If it's a GMC, there
should be a data plate on the front of the driver's side door jamb - at just
below
eye level. Open the driver's side door and look at the door jamb and you
should see it. Other than that, I'm sorry to say, you're on your own my friend

I just purchased the 1951 AD pickup for which I can't find any identifying
badging or model # plates. The one plate I located says it has a gross
vehicle weight of 8800 pounds. It has a 9 foot long bed and 17" split rims.
