| Here are some comments on various subjects. When checking for no spark- get
an icepick type test light. The wire on the switch side of the coil should
light up and stay lit when cranking. On the distributor side of the coil,
the test light should flash, each time the points close. This on and off
flashing indicated the points are making good contact. I have found that
the Snap-On test light that is rather expensive & has a bulb that looks
like a glass fuse really works well for this test. What is a good brand of
pressure blaster? If a cheap one is bought what can be done to make it
better? What makes one better than the other? could one be build from
various pieces?
