This is GREAT news. By late model I assume your saying 64 - 70? Also, do you
recall the spline count on the input shaft?

A Saginaw 4 spd from a late model Nova, Camaro, Firebird, Chevy II will bolt
right up without modification (except I used a Hurst shifter/linkage) and
works well...I put one in my '51 Chevy PU...used Patrick's 3.55 rear and was
able to keep the original closed driveshaft.
