Does anyone know what side of the engine the alternator mounts up to for
a chevy 396. I recently bought a truck that has been modified with a
396 and who ever put the engine together mounted the alternator on the
drivers side right above the power steering pump. This has caused a lot
of problems with how the power steering has been mounted. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
