A 250 will not replace a 235 without some modifications. The 235
transmission bell housing will not bolt to it directly either .

I purchased anb engine I believe was in a 1962 Chevrolet and want to putthis
in an older truck I have. . The only problem is I do not know what size it
is . Its a straight 6 . On the engines right side it reads CON 2
3994257 GM 86 On the left side it reads 64 4257 . Any info on
this will surely help . I think it might be larger than a 235 but Im not
sure Thank you
