[oletrucks] Buy a 1949 5-Window?

Hi Guys,

My stock '55 Cameo was sold in late 2004 to be replaced by a very nice '65
Chevelle Malibu SS which now has a new GMPP 330 HP crate engine.  Today at a
local show & shine I fell in lust with a virtually perfect original 1949 AD
five-window 1/2 ton equipped with 4-speed, radio and heater.  The owner wants
$18K, Old Cars Price Guide agrees with him and NADA says $22K.  The question
is, how much trouble will I be in with my wife if I buy it?
