Were the springs from a 79 or something else? I will check around
tomorrow and see if there was a big block in a 89 Camaro. That may be
what the fella was referring to when he mentioned the Trans Am heavey
duty springs.

I have a 79 Camaro front end under my 58. it sat too low, so I
put spring rubbers into the springs. I still didn't like it so I
got springs for a Big Block. now I have the Big Block springs,
AND
Spring Rubbers, and it sits OK.
