Dual-Range Hydra-Matics as used in '50s Chevy Trucks had no vacuum
connections.
Where are you located? I know of two Hydra-Matic experts. One in West
Roxbury Mass, the other in the LA area.

Does it have a vacuum shift modulator on it? I know it they are bad or not
