Bounce: Why isn't tjhis going through?

I tried responding to Eric's dryer problem and my message bounced. I 
sent him a response directly, but I'm wondering why my reply bounced.  I 
stripped the trailers off and replied to all recipients.  Then I tried a 
direct post with Re: drier repair in the subject line.  That bounced too.
