I've had this trouble before with another vehicle and
Federal-Mogul parts. A helpful counter person will get
you the right parts. Sometimes it helps to bring in
the old part when you return the part that doesn't fit.
Occasionally they can find a part number stamped or
painted on the old part and cross reference it to a
similar part. I doubt that I'd be grinding down
anything unless I had to make my own parts. IMHO.
