Stupid environmentalists.

What gets my goat is that the launching of the space shuttle
irrepairably damages the environment more than 10 years of all of
us listers driving our MGs. Okay maybe not but I bet it's real bad.
Do they see that? Nope. NASA pays off the lawmakers. Mafia probably
chips in too. As usual, government has implemented more restrictions on
the people. We're the freaking land of restrictions here. I don't
understand it. I'm thinking about moving to Ireland.

New York State requires all vehicles manufactured after 1969 that had an
EGR valve, air pump, catalytic converter, and vapor recovery equipment
to have that on their vehicle and functioning. I found this out when I
got my Mazda inspected. I nearly died. Many people have made
suggestions as to what to do, and I don't think I'm going to have an
issue with it. I'm probably moving out of state soon anyway.

I've sunk nearly $2500 into rebuilding my little racer engine knowing
that I didn't have to worry about smog equipment. I'm more than a
little ticked off. I think that I'm going to buy a 100-acre plot and
declare myself my own country and make my own rules. And let me tell
you, folks, there aren't going to be any smog regulations in MY country.

You just wait.
