Brian,
We are saying the same thing, your description of how the top attaches to the
side was better than what I posted. As I understood the original question
though he had an addition set of clips below the rear window that picked up
the soft top retainers on the rear deck. I have seen hard tops with that type
of mount for '60-'63 cars but they were not factory units.
Is your top the rounded type or the flat sided type, just curious.
