5.20" X 13" was the original size on a Bugeye. Converting that to metric is 
25.4 X 5.20 = 132.08 X 13. So in actual fact the 155s are indeed larger. Having 
said that my Bugeye has 155s on it with no problems.

Having pulled the front wheels to work on the brakes, I notice that the
front tires have rubbed slightly on the frame (near the triangular body
cutout at the inside rear part of the tire).

The car has 155 SR13's on it -- one Toyo, one Goodrich, one Uniroyal,
and one Bridgestone!

Is this an appropriate size?  Anyone have any specific tire
recommendations for street use?
