Sounds perfect to me. Use 15W-50 in the engine, and if it's a new rebuild,
use normal, non-synthetic oil for the first 500 miles. Helps the
cam/lifters break in properly. In actual fact, you only really need to run
on normal oil for the first 20 minutes, but it seems a shame to throw out
perfectly good oil!
