Hello Alan! Things are going well at this end but not as quickly as I
would like.
When I first got my Bugeye in 1977 the grill was fastened on with little
pieces of red plastic tubing; fairly rigid stuff. It stayed there until
I removed the grill in '94. I was going to thread the tabs also but as
I believe they are only pot metal thought they might break off. I will
reuse the plastic tubing as it fit snugly over the pins and could be
removed easily. If you want I could send you one so you could see what
it looks like.
Anyone out there know where one could find ~1/8" i.d. rigid tubing ?
