1. In gear with the clutch not depressed - get a sound resembling a high
pitched "squeek-squeek-squeek" It stops if I tap the clutch pedal
(depressing it perhaps no more than 1/4"), then may or may not start up
again. Any ideas??
2. 95 degree day - humid - caught in traffic - temp gauge reading 200 -
just cleared town and traffic and accelerating through 3800 rpm in 4th when
it started sputtering and losing power - it dropped to 3000 rpm with
accelerator on the floor. It seemed to get better as the engine temp
dropped toward 195. Vapor lock? (BTW - 1275 w/electric fuel pump)
