A briefing on our itinerary for the week:
7/31 Keystone games for Rick's youngest son Jim. 3rd in polevault.
8/01 Macungie antique cars, toys and flea market (some little Healey
toys)
8/02 Keystone games for Rick-2nd master's polevault
Cindy-1st womens master's
polevault
1st womens master's 4x1
relay
4th master's 100
(Keystone games is a PA Olympics. It's like field day when we were in
school. I don't want you to think we are jocks. If you show and
participate there's a good chance you'll have fun and get a reward.)
8/02 7:30 p.m. Sleeping bags in the Surburban and head out for Boyne
Falls.
8/03 Arrive at Boyne Falls! Let's eat, shower and see whats happening!
8/04 Rally day. We do our own private tour of Charlevoix with Hiroshi
Takemori and wife. Very nice. Rick and I received an award for senior
handicrafts. I entered a crocheted bureau scarf of a Bugeye and Rick
entered his handmade sterling broaches. Tragedy of the day- deer meets
Healey. Healey fairs well and finishes rally.
8/05 Funkana, gymkana, and up-hill race. Rick and I were given the
opportunity to run the funkana and gymkana in a 3000 Mk II. Thank you
Bob Brown. In a matter of hours after these fun runs however all 500
to 600 people were offering a hand, a suggestion, or photographing Bob's
car as it was being retrieved from the pond.
8/06 Mackinac Island here we come! A must see place - enjoyable!
8/07 Marathon drive from Michigan through Ontario to Niagra Falls.
8/08 Tourists at Niagra. Very Nice.
8/09 Travel home.
A busy week.
