I recently moved my Bugeye off of my regular insurance (Nationwide) to
Haggerty's primarily for the stated value coverage. They did not require
that I move my other 3 cars to them -- actually just the opposite. They
only cover collectable cars.

What they do require is that "all drivers of the vehicles insured by this
program will also own a regular-use vehicle that is used for normal everyday
driving such as driving to and from work or school, errands and general
transportation."

In other words, they want to make sure you have another car for regular use.
They would not provide coverage if your collectable was your only car.

I don't know about the requirements of other collectable car insurance
companies. I would not go with a company that requires me switch coverage
of my entire stable.

Jeff
