Frank,
I understood that for the first 500 miles 4k was the target for max revs.
I now have 240+ miles on my rebuild and will confess to running it to the
5k range a couple (well maybe 4 or 5) times. It "didn't blow up, knock,
tap, ping, or rattle in the first 20 minutes" or at any time since so do I
understand that you suggest ignoring the tach somewhat and let the engine
dictate it's shift points?
