Okay I gotta bite here... Mr. Toads wild ride started 17 miles from the VW
guy who said he would give me $300 for any bug I could drive onto his
lot.... and the ride started with a set of brakes... and only 4 traffic
lights in the 17 miles....
Lady decided to stop and let a logging truck coming the other way cross the
bridge... Mr. Toad went off the road headed down the embankment across the
stream and realizes (opens eyes) it is still driving sorta...up the bank we
go again and continue on our merry way... complete with astounded looks
from all concerned... ( I know passing on the right is dangerous but the
ability to stop simply wasn't an option) we think we can plan our stops
better at this point... except that last traffic light where rubbing the
tires against the curb is our last resort to going through the
intersection...
upon arrival the VW guy happens to be behind me the last 2 miles and was
not overly impressed with the brake system on Mr. Toad... I take 250 and a
ride to work..
thinking MAN OH MAN I gotta be able to afford better cars someday... Keith
