Chris,
IMHO (as always) to try to restore this to original would be a lot of hard
work, you would be starting from so far off the end target. Bit like the
reply for directions when you are lost in Ireland -- "Well if I were you I
wouldn't start from here !". If originality is what you are after find
something that hasn't been messed about with so much already.
No what I would do if I was oh so fortunate to pick up a Frog-eye (in any
condition) for $300 would be to do a really good job of tydying up and
finishing the modifications so that the car drives well and SAFELY, and
looks the part of a 1960's car. There are some superbly finished modified
cars around, and with care and attention to detail yours could be one of
them !
'Course you could do up 2 LBCs !!!
