I am removing the interior panels on the 72 Midget to have them recovered and
need some info. I ran out of time tonight and didn't have time to look it over
very well but can't see any obvious way to remove the Bonnet release cable
handle so I can remove the panel it is coming through.
Anyone know the answer to this one to save me some time??

Thanks ahead of time, this list always seems to have all the solutions.

I have a related question: my bonnet release is extremely hard to
pull--takes two hands (and that's a bit difficult with that little
knob). Is there a way of lubing the cable? Or is it better to
replace it? Thanks.
