The head gasket part number is the part numbering system used by Payen
(former name Halls/Payen) that was the original equipment supplier to
many British Car Manufacturers over the years. However, the price you
have been quoted...Fel-pro or even if in the Payen box... is not
particularly high for a complete head gasket set. In fact, if you have
priced even a Nissan or Isuzu head set you will find that the prices of
modern car head sets are much more $.

It is possible that a mail order company can get you a better price but
once you pay for ground shipping on the one gasket set, you may reach
your $30.00 mark. Of course, you may save some sales tax if the supplier
is out of state.
