Top storage brackets

List,

After getting caught in the rain with no top for the second time
this year, I decided to install the brackets that the frame
stores in so I can take it with me! Thanks to all I now do have
my wipers working so I can see where I'm going while I get
wet...........

Do they (the brackets) mount over the carpet or do you mount them
to the rear bulkhead and cut the carpet to fit around them?
