Finally back on the ground and bounced around a little.  I get, from the floor
to the bottom of sill and NOT the flange under the sill:
Front - right 7 1/4"   left  7 1/2"
Rear -  right 7 3/4"   left  7 3/4"

Sounds like your in the ball park.
