DanO,

CB? Should be one of the following:
C - Austin-Healey
CG - Austin-Healey or MG
CC - Austin-Healey or MG

DA - Close Ratio Center Change Box

H - High Compression

4336 - Serial Number

>From the Victoria British Catalog:
Assuming that the CB is actually a CG or a CC,
Years 1961 - 1962

Being a relatively low engine serial number, I would guess that this
motor is from a bugeye. Does someone have the Horler book at
work with them? It contains better data.

Paul

Greetings All,
Can anyone decipher the following engine number and what vehicle it is
from?
9CB-DA-H 4336
The letter 'A' is about half the size of the preceding letter 'D'
Thanks in advance,
      DanO in Daytona Beach Florida
