> Some of us are meeting at the IHOP in Mosesto ( Briggsmoore Exit, 99
south, SE corner of intersection) at 7:00 am for breakfast on Sat. 18 SEP
99.
> From there we will drive to the Calif State Minning and Mineral Museum 2
miles south of Mariposa on SR 49 and meet at 10:00 am. I assume some people
will want to go in (like me) so if your late we should be there till 11:00
am. After that you are on your own. If you can't find Mariposa by yourself
I don't think you would want to go anyway.
> After the meet we will drive north on SR 49 with stops for lunch, and
gold panning. Other stops as needed or wanted (right Rick?). Our final
objective on Sat. will be Placerville & 15 miles east on I-80 at the
Elliott's in Pollock Pines for a Bar-B-Que Sat. night. Thanks Pattrick and
Aimme!

1-503-622-0895 (the area code may have changed, they always do around here).
Or e-mail me and I'll get you a room.
> Sunday morning I though Pattrick and Aimme could pick a spot to meet for
breakfast in Placerville since Chuck's Dinner is no longer there (around
9:00 am, OK with everybody?). Then we blast north up SR 49 with stops along
the way again to pan, play, and lunch to Sierraville where SR49 meets SR 89.
You can take 89 south to I-80 in Truckee or north to 70 west and my favorite
ride down the Feather River Canyon to Chico. 70 east will lead you to 395
and Reno.
> All are welcome in anything they want drive! Bob and Annice have agreed
to leave their bug-i at home and drive a tow vehicle ( I have a great
strap ), but usually we just leave the dead on the side of the road.
Anybody that can make it to the Palo Alto British Car Meet and not make a
run up SR 49 can guess what I think of them.
> So far we have people that are making the whole run and some that are just
going for either Sat. or Sun. You are all welcome to join us on either day
or both. " LETS GET IT ON"
