When I rebuilt my first set I pushed them all the way in and found that
the carbs couldn't be shut off. What I did then was to slightly loosen
the needles and pulled them out about a !/4 of and inch then pushed the
"plungers" down to seat the needles. I gently removed the "plungers" and
tightened the needles in them. Then you open the seats 12 flats and set
according to the book that you are using. I don't know if this is the
proper procedure but I did this 3 years before I had ever heard of the
list and they still run.................anyone have a different way to
set the needles??             Brad
