This too may be a silly response, but have you completely removed the bolt
that clamps the shock arm. The trunnion pin has a concave 'valley' at 90
degrees that this clamp bolt passes thru..
Another thought (I've just been thru all of this) is to use a center punch,
and said big hammer, as the trunnion bushes are metal-sleeved, and may just
be pinching enough at their outter edge to prevent smooth removal of the
pin..

trunnion link that rotates freely and moves freely up and down, about 1/8

an inch, will not come off. ( For the SAs, yes the nut has been removed. )
It seems to bind when it gets to the threads.
