Finally a technical post from me...<grin>
I'm looking for some guidance on adjusting the rear mount for my Rivergate 5
speed conversion. My problem is that the transmission sits too far to the
left, and when in neutral, the gearshift is hitting the left side of the
opening. I've loosened the mounts and had a friend pry the tranny to the
right while I tighten the mounts again, but it only seems to stay for a day
or two. It appears that we are just compressing the mounts, rather than
shifting them to the right. Any suggestions? Thanks!
