Subject: Easy way to pressure test radiator?

After a drive around town this morning, I came back to notice that some
traces of coolant have been leaking out from the top hose fitting of the
heater core. I couldn't tell if it was a loose hose (I put a new clamp on
it) or if the fitting is going bad (it's covered with green deposits). But
before I do anything more than replace the hose, does a simple cost
effective product exist for pressure testing the cooling system? I know
WalMart sells a kit for flushing, but since I've never pressure tested, I
getting curious about whether my heater core is starting to disintegrate.

I'd rather buy a testing tool/device/system if it costs in the $100 range,
since the local mechanics around here charge about $35 for basic radiator
service.
