Most of the major part suppliers have the 30 day return policy. If you dont
like it return it. This involves some shipping expenses for you (I now work
down the street from Moss, so BTW if anybody wants some parts checked out,
e-mail me), but if you want the "correct" part for your concours restoration
(pointless in my opinion) cost shouldnt be an issue. All I want is a part
that works for a resonable ammount of time and for a reasonable cost.
Couldnt care less where it was made.

Now, what would be extremely smooth would be a major parts supplier, ie.
Moss, with a killer website that details their part from various angles with
hi res digital images. Kind of a Virtual check out. And info on where the
part originates would be awesome. Smack on some Online ordering, reasonable
shipping costs, and some lovely tech notes that are part related and that
would be one awesome supplier. Even giving the customer a choice between the
"same" parts would be great. Would you pay double for the exact repro item?
NOS? etc?

Hell I would be willing to do the Web work in exchange for parts. (but they
have to be NOS!! j/k)

And be thankful we even have parts for our cars. You don't want to know the
efforts I go through to get parts for my Moms Peugeot 404. I am sick of it,
and thinking about a toyota engine conversion. It is a shame, but with zero
aftermarket suppliers, zero repro items, and zero support in the US, I feel
its the simplest way to go.

Have fun driving... my car is still down for at least another week.

Take Care

Toby
