Hey, did anyone see " A Gentlemans Motor Racing Diary" on Speedvision
last night?
this is great series of home movies from the late fifties, shot at great
races all across Europe. Last night they featured The 1959 British GP
at Aintree. The pre race Drivers parade was in a fleet of about 25 Old
English White Bugeyes! Imagine, Moss, Colins, Shelby,Bonnier, Schell,
McLaren, Brabham, et al parading around the circuit in Sprites!
The Sprites were described as " BMC's revolutionary new sportscar". It
was neat.
