Ok, well I did try turning it, but that didn't do anything.  I wasn't sure
if it was supposed to.  I know the heater knob does, but I haven't figured
out if anything actually happens when it's turned, and I'm afraid of
breaking it so I usually just leave it alone :).  Is it hard to replace
with the locking kind?  I know there's a stash of those in my house
somewhere (if the one's from a B will fit).
