In the UK not everyone who races has a bottomless pit of money to spend on 
racing.  Those that do might use a set of pistons for one season or two.  
Those that don't might buy a set of pistons that have done one season or two. 
 In part this supports the theory that the person with the biggest cheque 
book wins.
