breaks out >

On my way to school a few minutes ago my brakes went out.  Fortunately the
handbrake still works.  I've got to drive home in a few hours, after
class, and after rush hour!  Can I get brakes at the local Checker, or
Napa, or do I have to order them from Moss, elsewhere?  Wish me luck on
the drive home, and if anyone has any great ideas of what I should do it'd
be really appriciated.
