..excuse me "Lowe's" (spplbbpt!) Motor Speedway. (They have a web site too.)
I think you will have just missed the giant spring auto show/swap meet
they have every year.
There are also several Winston Cup teams located in the area. At least
some of them would give garage tours. There are also several old race car
and/or hotrod museums near the track (I havn't been to them.)
We have at least one lister near Charlotte (Peter Samaroo?).
Just a mite west of Winston-Salem is Tanglewood Park. Big golf, horsey,
park where NC's biggest BritCar show is held every year (June 10? this year.)
Maybe a nice place for a picnic.
Winston-Salem has "Old Salem", an old time Moravian village. I havn't been
but some folks think it's great, others are somewhat disappointed.
Isn't there another lister near W-S? Maybe in Clemmons?
If you get near Greensboro (30 min east of W-S) maybe Mark Snowdon(?) can
take you to a local short track, stock-car race (as his crew!). ;-)
