  If it is state-to-state in the US then check with Greyhound bus.  They 
will ship odd shaped large items pretty cheap, you have to be flexible on 
delivery times.   UPS will also do it but they have a weight limit that 
Greyhound does not or at least did not 2 years ago.  If you have to go to a 
trucking company they tend to be pretty expensive.
