ok kids! i was the high bidder on the knob. i was contacted by an
individual who deals in speedwell items and his statement was it was an
early 90's item made and marketed by a mini parts shop in england and was/is
available for around 14.00. his statement went on to say that he had lists
of all the speedwell items and a gear shift knob was not an original item,
bur a later made thing. upon hearing this i emailed the seller. his reply
was he thought it was an older item acording to what he was told , but due
to the amount of messages he had recieved , he believes he may be in error
and closed his auction. he will be relisting it in the future but not
claiming itto be an original 1960's item in his new auction. so once again
i'm in the middle of controversy.
