Eddie,

Sounds like what I am doing with my 74.  I've put older style tailights, and 
seats (better fit for a fat guy), but I did not replace the dash.  Maybe 
someday.  I did the topper and put in a stainless steel consule to replace 
the fat one from 74.  The plan is to find an older style grill (Crash, you 
still have one for sale?) and chrome stips to complete the conversion.

My first Midget was a 65, and I like that look.

I'm also thinking of a stainless plate to surround the instuments and 
switches...anyone know how hard this would be to fabricate?  have fabricated?
