With BMW pushing the "new" MINI here pretty soon, I bet they are gonna be
pushing for a remake\sequel as well.

And instead of E-types and Austin Martins getting crushed and thrown off
clifs, it'll be z3s and 7 series bmw sedans. (Now that's something to cheer
about!)

Instead of Italy, It'll be set in Japan or something, with the police
driving hondas\toyotas.

Instead of sneaking in and changing the traffic computer, they are gonna
have a whiz kid computer hacker hack the system but he won't be infatuated
with "big" women... but instead perhaps petite Asian women.

I think I need to write a script :P

Toby

who has "The Italian Job" Recorded off of TV twice now. You never know when
I will need my fix of watching the minis in the sewer pipe. Supposedly while
practicing they made one do a 360 around the inside of the pipe! now that's
impressive.

My Fellow Spridgeteers,

BLOCKBUSTER Video can order "The Italian Job" for $9.95. Ordered mine
on Friday, received it the next Friday.

Enjoyed the red, white and blue Mini Cooper "S" trio as they eluded the
Alfa driving Italian Police. Many, many LIC's (Fiats); 600's for the
most part. Hated seeing the two E-Types (don't cry Trevor) destroyed...
say nothing about the Aston Martin. When they "dumped" the three
Mini's, that broke my heart!

Interesting how Michael Caine's acting stile changed over the past 32
years.

"Self Preservation Society"... what a song! Anyone know all the words?
Perhaps we should adopt this "theme song" as our own. After all, we are
a Preservation Society of LBC's!!!

Ending the way it did, I'm expecting a sequel (soon).... After all, did
they save the bullion or not!?!
