Alright, I put in the new synchros and it still jumps
out of second gear when you let off of the gas. When I
was assembling the 3rd motion shaft the other night
there seemed to be a lot of play between the
first/second gear synchro hub and the main bearing on
the shaft. How much play should there be between
there. If you take all of the space out of there, then
the synchro (Baulk) ring will engage with second gear.
Too much play and you can't shift far enough into
second to fully engage it.
