I had one of these on one side of my Midget, so that when I hit my brakes, 
one side would be red and the other amber.   I found a cheap (We Tight!) and 
easy fix:  I had a small model-sized spray can of Candy-Apple Red paint on my 
shelf.  I painted the inside of the lense with that transparent red paint and 
it worked perfectly.
