SoCal Vintage Spridget racers use 14" (legally).  Many would use 15's (+2) 
if they could.  SCCA allows 15's in certain Solo II classes.  I have MG TF 
wires.

All splines (except Jaguar) are created equal.  The nut threads, however, 
come in two flavors: 8 tpi and 12 tpi.
