I am game.
The guy's name is Ed Dowling, a burnt out (and broke) engineer and incredibly 
talented folk singer. He has a website EdDowling.com There is a picture of 
one of his guitars here, but they are awesome looking in real life. I don't 
think he is cutting the Aluminum himself, but sends the patterns somewhere.
I am sure there is an initial start up cost for this, which I am willing to 
share either on a communal or capitalist basis.
