Hi Listers,
When the news broke about the tragedy in the USA this afternoon (our time)
the whole of the office where I work were shocked. My brother rang me at
work to tell me about it in case I had not heard. On the train home from
work people all around were talking about it. Over here it is hard to even
imagine buildings the sizes that the World Trade towers were, let alone what
would happen if a plane hit and demolished them. The loss of life of the air
passengers alone is enormous and while I am still posting LBC responses I am
still thinking about the terrible events of this day, the loss of life and
the lives that one way or another will have been changed forever. I know I
am not alone amongst the British people who are deeply upset at what has
happened.
