I think you've discovered the problem I had. The after market panels are
stamped
for RHD. Yes, the panels are different and you've discovered the problem--the
flat area for the accelerator pedal. As I remember (it's been five or six
years),
I think I bastardized both panels and "made" a LHD from the RHD panel and vice
versa.
No, I don't know of anyone who sells the "correct" panels. All I ever found
were
the Mk II panels. If you're really into "correctness" you can bastardize the
two
existing panels to make the "correct" one panel setup for the Bugeyes.
Was it worth it? Who knows. I wouldn't do it again, if that helps.
